The imitation of a portrait on computer. (Continuation) | ||||
A portrait starts with photographs of the artistic image. Compositions, illumination, nature and lines of the future portrait are necessary to search for in process of the shooting of the future object. At this stage digital photography comes in to help. |
For instance, I can do with this camera more than 800 pictures at one session. It enables to do the picture with different foreshortenings, with miscellaneous by illumination, catching the features of the future image. Working with this camera is very comfortable, because it is possible to look at the picture and evaluate it on the monitor of the camera or computer and if necessary to do the additional shooting. If you don’t have a digital camera the process becomes expensive and occupies much time. |

After completion of the shooting, quality of the imitations depends on how the artist knows technology of the traditional style of drawing in which he is going to imitate the future portrait and from the level of his knowledge of the graphic programs in which he is going to work. It is also necessary to note that the computer process of imitations requires greater resources from the computer. Sure, the more modern is the machine, so much better and more pleasing is to work with it and more qualitative is the final result. |
